Your Canadian CEO, Christine Buhr Founder and Entrepreneur, Christine Buhr has created, scaled and exited one of Calgary's biggest entertainment hubs, Shakers Fun Centre. Her roles include chairing the Entrepreneurs Association and The International Association of Attractions and Amusement Parks. Coming from an entrepreneurial family, she learned about business early on, discovering how to lead operations and create efficiencies through technology enablement (e.g., ERP systems). After a short stint in Vancouver, she returned to Calgary to turn Shakers into the muli-milion dollar business she excited prior to the global pandemic. A private investor in many scaleups, Verne enjoys piano, tennis, and magic as a card-carrying member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
